Baryn Futa Is A Proud Member Of The Small Community Of Art Patrons

The arts are universally appreciated, even if people do not always know it. Everyone has seen a painting and stopped dead in their tracks to marvel at it. The talent that it takes to create such a piece of work, regardless of what type of art it is, is admirable. Despite the universal appreciation for the arts, the support for the arts is not always so widespread. This is where people like Baryn Futa come in, because they have supported the arts through their time, money, and energy.

Baryn Futa is proud to be a member of the small community of art patrons. He is particularly interested in contemporary artists that work with time based media, meaning video. Baryn Futa is a patron to literally dozens of contemporary artists that are active right now. Baryn Futa looks at this as an opportunity not only to foster an interest in the arts, but also as a worthy investment. Baryn Futa’s mission is to increase public interest in the arts by supporting particularly talented individuals and collectives and showcasing their work publicly.

Baryn Futa has not always been interested in the fine arts. In fact, he joined the community of arts patrons quite late in life, only becoming interested in the fine arts after his retirement. Baryn Futa discovered his love for the fine arts while working with the Denver Art Museum and soon thereafter sought to learn as much about the fine arts as he could, as quickly as he could. He went to art fairs, festivals, museums, and exhibitions, as well as taking fine arts classes both in real classrooms and online. Today, Baryn Futa has an impressive art collection of his own. He regularly loans pieces of art to museums and exhibitions so they can be viewed publicly. He is also a member of major museums like The Guggenheim, The Jewish Museum, and The Met.
